Today I went to the grocery store where a little boy pointed me out to his mother and said, "Momma, Halloween is over and that lady still has her Halloween costume on."
But I feel pretty good though because right before that a lady came up to me and asked me what color my hair was because it was so beautiful.
We're going to be working on Podcamp Atlanta today at 9:00 Eastern with an online meetup. We wanted face-to-face at Java Monkey in Decatur, but that was nixed because so many of the organizers live way north of there. I think that some of us still plan to meet there next Sunday though.
I can hardly wait. We plan to have Podcamp in March, though details are still being worked out. Anyone in the south who either has a show or wants to start a podcast would do well to attend this free event.

Anyway, I see a couple of atheist links, and I was wondering why y'all haven't really talked about it any. I personally believe in the logic of Aquinas, but I don't believe that God is a being, especially not a supreme being. I prefer to think of God as a weird unexplainable anomaly thingy. What do y'all think about when the topic God comes up?

The next show, once I get it edited, is going to be more political and atheist. Sasha isn't in it, but we have a friend over who is Dwight's best friend from way back. Sasha hasn't been able to get up to our house to record because of school conflicts and then I broke my toe and couldn't go get her when she was available last Wednesday. I wanted to podcast by phone but she didn't really want to do that as it would eat up cellphone minutes! Hopefully she'll be able to come up and record this week.
Most of the atheist links on the site are Dwight's various blogs, actually. He's what I would call a fairly activist atheist/freethinker. I am a skeptical nonbeliever in that I need proof of God--if a supreme being could be scientifically proven, I'd be all over that. I can't speak for Sasha, but my impression is that she's also atheist though her attitude is fairly meh about the whole thing. Our daughters Halley and Maia aren't believers, but I wouldn't reject them if they were.

How old were you when you broke your arm? I cracked my ankle a few years ago when I tripped on my basement stairs and a boy in a carpool punched me in the nose when I was six and broke it, but other than that, no other broken bones on me.
Back in June we did a personal injury show where we all compared boo boos. We'd be happy to interview you about your injuries for the show if you like. Email me with your phone number if you want. We love to hear about stuff like that!
